360 Reach: What my peers say about me and who I am

Updated: Dec 8, 2018

Upon completing the 360 Reach program, I discovered that my peers, particularly those who know me best, see me as both organized and dependable, though my top brand attribute is my intelligence. I faithfully stick to my word and manage my time as efficiently as possible. Additionally, I enjoy working in team settings, as I am motivated by others and have a knack for collaboration. I often take on the role of either leader, the individual who create a vision, assembles the team, takes charge and measures progress, or the project manager who manages all aspects of the project, including the people, budget, schedule, resources, etc. Over the course of my time at Texas A&M, I have been fortunate enough to be a part of many project teams, some stronger than others, which has allowed me to become more adaptable, work successfully with many different types of people, and adjust my leadership style as necessary.

Just for fun and out of sheer curiosity, I asked the projective question of "What type of cereal would I be?" and shockingly enough, there was an overwhelming response for honey nut cheerios, followed closely by fruit loops. Reasons for choosing these two cereals include colorful & bright, marketable, good for you and wholesome.

Me - in cereal form.

Since I was young, I have had an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit as a result of the example my mother set for me. I enjoy solving problems with unique solutions, and, as an Achiever per the Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment, I am never satisfied until I have achieved the goals I set for myself. I am consistently pursuing success and avoiding complacency at all costs.

I am passionate about marketing, particularly the retail and restaurant sectors, as well as floral design, decorating, and traveling. I enjoy experiencing new places, cultures, and food with my friends and family and documenting my memories in the form of scrapbooks. I recently traveled to Florence, Italy for five weeks as part of a study abroad program and had the best experience of my life. Learning about the wine industry, immersing myself in the Italian culture, and being so far away from home was truly a transformative experience. Immediately upon my return to the United States, I completed a scrapbook to capture the highlights of my time abroad. I take pride in my opportunities and genuinely love sharing them with others!
